TAIWAN
FUN Taipei City Guide.September, 2008 EDITION
For this issue of Taiwan Fun, we came up with so many What's New articles that I decided to put a few of them into our next issue. If you like lamb stew, then I'd recommend No.161 in Tianmu; a friend of mine who usually don't eat lamb was surprised with himself when he finished a whole leg of lamb there. Looks like Chef David really knows what he's doing. Soul Food is another place I'd visit again. Lately, there has been an interesting event called the Taiwan Pork Chop Festival, where people vote for their favorite pork chop on the island. It now seems that this item has become one of Taiwan's most popular dishes, much like it is nationally in Japan. Returning to my original topic, I really want you to take time for Anzu, whose owners just opened a new branch in Taipei (see What's New). I am also pleased to see that Taipei has yet another fantastic hotel like Eight Zone. The next time you're in town, take my advice and experience the fun of staying there.
