As the "Taichung City This Month" section notes, we're once again hosting a major international baseball tournament, as teams from around the world--from South Africa to Spain--are arriving for Olympic qualifiying games, mostly played at the Taichung Intercontinental Stadium. I've already bumped into the Korean national team dining--where else?--at a local Korean restaurant, and I've heard that Taipei's Canadians are coming down in force to support their country's squad. St. Patrick's Day of course will be a good excuse to dress in green and head to the local pubs for some green beer and other fun--check Nightlife "What's On" listings and our advertisers.
