TAIWAN
FUN Taipei City Guide.March, 2008 EDITION
In the Nightlife section this month, we take you to Bisous No.5 and Ringside, two places definitely worth checking out; especially for those who are not fans of beer fests or loud music. The cover story this month is written by the expert on Taiwanese aboriginal culture, Cheryl Robbins, who tells us all about learning the aborigines' culture, right in Taipei city. Due of lack of space, we were not able to cover too much information on this particular subject, but, if you are interested in this area, then there is a website you can go to (see article), so you can reach Cheryl directly with any inquiries (English and Mandarin are both okay). Finally, I just want to bring up something about the Spring Lumpia Festival that will be held this month; Taiwan Fun gives our readers a brief introduction into the culture and stories of this traditional Taiwanese snack.
